The resort has a stunning beachfront location and an exceptional staff that truly makes you feel at home. However, the rooms are quite small and lack adequate storage and power outlets, which can be a challenge. While the food quality and variety left much to be desired, the overall service provided by the staff certainly brightened our stay. Due to these drawbacks, we will be exploring other options for our next trip.

Our stay had its ups and downs. The beach was absolutely stunning with crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling. The staff was genuinely helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the rooms were outdated and need significant renovations, and the dining options left much to be desired, which was disappointing. If you're looking for a budget option with a fantastic beach, this could be a good fit, but don't expect a luxury stay.

I had a nice week at the resort, which has a beautiful pool and beach area that met our vacation expectations. However, the rooms felt dated and could certainly use some maintenance. I had a wonderful time at El Cozumeleno during the low season! The hotel was incredibly quiet, almost felt like we had it all to ourselves. The friendly staff catered to our needs, and the food was surprisingly good despite previous concerns. However, the loungers by the pool were definitely not enough, which made it a bit inconvenient to find a place to relax. Overall, it's a great value for money, especially compared to other options in the area.
